Research expertise/competencies
Experienced researcher in molecular microbiology, I work on the engineering and application of bacteriophages to address challenges related to antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and biofilm-associated infections. My work combines phage therapy, phage-derived enzymes, and biomaterials science to develop advanced solutions for infection control in medical devices and other clinical applications. By adopting a translational research approach, I try to bridge fundamental discoveries with tangible medical and industrial innovations.
